ARE YOU A “CERTIFIED/LICENSED” GERSON CLINIC? A CANDID HISTORY OF THE GERSON THERAPY.
We are, perpetually, asked this question and it can only be answered with two questions of its own. First, certified by who? Second, who has the authority to certify or license any clinic wanting to practice and carry on Dr. Gerson’s therapy and legacy? The answer to the latter question is simple; NOBODY has the authority to license a Gerson clinic. With that said, allow me to take the reader on a brief and candid history of the Gerson Therapy.
Dr. Gerson died in 1959. He is, was and always will be the authority on the Gerson Therapy. When he died, his therapy died with him. From 1959 until 1977 nobody in the world was practicing the Gerson Therapy. Finally, in 1977, a wonderful man, named Norman Fritz, approached Charlotte Gerson(Dr. Gerson’s last living daughter) and offered to put up all the money necessary to rebirth the Gerson Therapy. With that, the first Gerson Clinic after Dr. Gerson’s death and the Gerson Institute were born. At that time, Charlotte Gerson, unilaterally and inappropriately, declared herself and her Institute the world authority on the Gerson Therapy and would only license a Gerson clinic under two conditions. First, you had to pay her and her Institute a very handsome licensing fee. Secondly, and tragically, you could only practice the Gerson Therapy as Dr. Gerson left it in 1959!
Anyone who knows anything about Dr. Gerson and his therapy clearly understands that Dr. Gerson was the consummate scientist; constantly trying to perfect his therapy based on what was continually coming out in the scientific literature. In fact, in 1952, seven years before his death, he revamped his juicing protocol of 50 years based on what was coming out in scientific studies on the healing properties of specific fruits and vegetables. Even Dr. Gerson himself said, shortly before his death, there would come a point when his therapy would not get the same results as it was getting while he was alive as he recognized the incredibly toxic direction society was heading in. In exclaiming this he expressed the need for his therapy to be advanced further as more science and discovery became revealed. Over sixty years has passed since Dr. Gerson’s death. In those sixty years the amount of science and information that has come out that can enhance the natural treatment of cancer and, most certainly, enhance the powerful foundation Dr. Gerson left us in the Gerson Therapy, is astronomical. There is absolutely no doubt, that if Dr. Gerson were alive today, his therapy would look completely different than it did in 1959 and I am certain it would look a lot like our Advanced Gerson Therapy protocols we offer here at our clinic, Northern Baja Gerson Center. Our protocols are built upon and enhance the very foundation Dr. Gerson laid out for us. I lived with Charlotte Gerson in 1998 for two months at her home in San Diego where, in her garage, she had all her father’s handwritten files of all his patients up until his death in 1959. I am one of only a handful of people that has ever personally studied those files. I can tell you it is a tragic mistake that Charlotte Gerson and the Institute unilaterally declared themselves the authority on the Gerson Therapy only offering licensure to those who agree to practice the Gerson Therapy exactly as he left it in 1959! Is it any wonder, that after nearly 45 years since its inception, the Institute only has TWO “licensed” clinics? There is no mystery to this. Nobody in their right mind, who wants to carry on Dr. Gerson’s legacy and progress his therapy for the benefit of humanity, would seek their licensure under such conditions. It would be a betrayal of Dr. Gerson’s own personal quest to do everything possible to progress his therapy to save a sick and dying humanity from the deadly scourge of cancer.
The fact remains this: we are the World’s premier Gerson clinic and protocol. We have embraced Dr. Gerson’s legacy of his absolute love of the scientific process and the progress it affords us. With that, we have created the most powerful treatment protocols in the world based only on what has come out in the scientific literature, in conjunction with the Gerson Therapy, taking Dr. Gerson’s therapy and his legacy into the 21st century. No “licensed” Gerson clinic can remotely compare to the protocols we have to offer. To settle for the Gerson Therapy as Dr. Gerson left it in 1959 would be denying oneself the best opportunity to heal.
